Did you know that Rutgers is the eighth oldest college in US, founded as Queen’s College in 1766?
I spent two days on the New Brunswick Campus of Rutgers University as part of their counselor event. I learned all about the campus—or I should say, their 5 campuses. The New Brunswick campus is divided into College Avenue Campus, Douglass Campus, Cook Campus, Busch Campus and Livingston Campus. As they say here, “One community, Five Campuses”. This is one way to make a large university feel small.
They offer over 100 majors and many opportunities for interdisciplinary study. We had presentations by the Schools of Pharmacy, Business, Environmental and Biological Sciences, Arts and Sciences,Douglass Residential College and The Honors College.
