On the Road

The path to a successful college admissions process and finding the right fit is complex and dynamic– colleges add new majors or programs, change admissions requirements or expand services. Additionally, there are changes in the peripheral institutions that impact the college process- The College Board, the ACT, The Common Application, The Coalition Application, Naviance and more.

There is always something new to learn. Participating in college campus tours is one way I stay current. Other great resources I take advantage of are to attend national and regional professional conferences, meet with college admissions reps, attend Counselor Professional Development Days, attend College Symposia, participate in workshops and webinars and attend seminars. I spend a great deal of time on the road!
